Afternoon Tea in Bath

Afternoon Tea in Bath

BATH SPA

Bath is one of my favourite cities along with London, Oxford (obviously) and Brighton, it’s just gorgeous and a great place to explore. Afternoon tea is always on the menu when visiting a historic city and Bea’s Vintage Tea Rooms couldn’t have been anymore perfect. Even if I did manage to spill half of my tea on the pretty embroidered table cloth. You can’t take me anywhere!

We stayed in the rather glamorousΒ Francis Hotel which had the most magical bathroom complete with an image of the spa. All of the rooms were beautifully decorated with pretty fabrics, mirrors and chandeliers. Definitely one to add to my little black book.

My floral dress was found in a London vintage shop last year and was going to be worn to a wedding. But I changed my mind as us girls do. I’m pleased it has finally seen the light of day and I teamed it with a vintage handbag found in Bath last year. I apologise for looking a bit tired, I blame the rose wine of the previous night!

Wow, there are so many gorgeous elements to this post I do not know where to begin! The Georgian architecture, the dusky floral print on your dress, the hanging baskets of flowers… I am so keen to visit Bath now! Lovely post xxxx

I love the Georgian splendour of Bath, I haven't been in 20 years, must go back! πŸ™‚ x

Oh I do love a vintage tea room (and the fact this one shares the same name as one of my daughter's means I would have just had to stop in!).
When I lived down south I used to take day trips to Bath partly because it reminded me a little of home. But now I'm back in Harrogate I can't complain. If you like Victorian spa towns you must visit Harrogate one day (and look me up).
    PS Sublime outfit, as always!

Oh my gosh – I have that same bag.
I believe it was my mothers.
So cute – I forget to get it out and use it!

    Thanks!
