Trick or Treat?

I don’t know about you but I love a good pumpkin and in New York they were everywhere. In fact Halloween was everywhere. Pumpkins in doorways, on steps, outside shops and piled up beside produce stores. There really was no escape.

During our trip we visited the amazing Union Square Greenmarket. There we so many things to see and of course there were hundreds of pumpkins and gourds. If only I could have smuggled a suitcase of decorative gourds through customs, I think they are fascinating! Anyway, here are a few photographs from my trip.

Happy Halloween!

Here in Belgium, Halloween is not as big as over there. I did a little trick or treat with my kids (5 and 2), they loved it.
I love the picture of the big and tiny pumpkin. So funny! πŸ™‚

Lovely! Pumpkins are beautiful as they are, it's almost a shame to carve them. Almost. I love that last shot. So simple, lovely and trusting that no one will take a pumpkin and run! Love those gourds too!
