‘An Englishwoman’s home is her castle.’
Just popping in to say hello, and to let you know I’m thrilled to have my home featured in this month’s edition of Mollie Makes, alongside the home of my lovely friend Zoe Power. I shot and styled Candy Pop HQ so if you’d like to see how I got on do snap up a copy. (We have six whole pages!) As always Mollie Makes is packed full of gorgeous things so it’s well worth a trip to the newsagent.
I also wanted to share a few recent shots incorporating woodland animals. So far I’ve photographed deer (obviously) and a squirrel, my mission now is to find a rabbit, a fox and a mouse. That’s how I roll. I saw the squirrel in a Herefordshire antique shop last Christmas, one year on and he was still there, waiting patiently to be taken home. And so I did. Anyway, I do hope you like them.
January has been reflective. I’ve been minimising my computer time in favour of old films, museums and art galleries. I’m hoping inspiration will be found in a Constable landscape or a Turner storm. Or something like that anyway. Right, that’s enough nonsense from me. I hope January is being kind, and I’ll see you very soon.
The woodland animals are available from my shop.
