'You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.'  Maya Angelou

Gosh, how can we be so far into February? I've even seen blossom - yes real blossom - and I was so excited I created a blossom board on Pinterest to celebrate. Perfectly normal behaviour right?

Anyway, as I'm sure you already know my home was featured in Mollie Makes magazine last month (over here for those who missed it). Having anything Candy Pop related published is always an honour and it was lovely to receive so much kind feedback. Thank you everyone!

The reason I'm posting more shots of my home is I wanted to share the images that weren't used in Mollie Makes. After all it seems a shame not to do anything with them. The photographs were taken in September of last year, and surprisingly my home looks quite different today. Nothing like a change in surroundings to motivate new thought and creativity. Or at least that's the plan anyway!

  2. So charming! It's a very nice home. I love the colours, the little flowers and your "LOVE" picture. It is from Paul Smith, isn't it? Lovely!

  4. beautiful and so much light too! I love how you combine prints, I don't think you've shared your kitchen before, I don't know what it is, I LOVE it, but it wasn't what I was expecting for you!

    1. Thank you! Funny you should say that because I didn't choose the kitchen, it was there when I moved in. In my previous home I went for the Habitat free standing wood units - it was an old house, and they suited it perfectly. My current home is new, so given the choice I would opt for an extremely modern, minimal look. White, white and more white!

  6. Your home is so lovely and full of light! I love the ribbon garland above the bed and the embroidery detail. I also spy a couple of retro flowery storage jars in the kitchen that I have as well. I've had them for years, and now one of them hold my paint brushes. It's a happy jar!

    1. Thank you Katie! I love my floral storage jars, I'm hoping one day to find a third to complete the set. The ribbon garland was made by my Mum for my sister's wedding, I'm so pleased I was able to recycle it!

  8. Hello Natasha,
Gorgeous post, where to start, I loved the article in Mollie Makes and its a treat to see more!
You co-ordinate everything so beautifully, the blue glass vases, the pretty pots and and vases on your dressing table, and the cuckoo clocks are so cute! Your home may be a new build but you have given it real character! Love it all!

  13. Kate has asked me to inform you that she is honoured to be cited. I'm so pleased that she told me about your lovely blog. Mr Mosscockle has asked that our own humble abode be styled as your own, though I fear your style to be inimitable. People may try, of course, but the result is a pale parody.
