Snapshots of May

A kitsch fawn for Friday. A rainy bank holiday Monday. One of my favourite vintage floral prints. Jars of childhood memories. My boy lollipop. Afternoon tea, and a pretty bird feeder at Burford. Raindrops on hydrangeas. Pink champagne truffles by Charbonnel et Walker. Fabulous meringues at Beetroot on Cowley Road, Oxford.

Snapshots of May

A plastic windmill for a sunny day. Laduree window shopping in Covent Garden. Studded Louboutins with a hint of Rainbow Brite. A gorgeous gift of Miller Harris perfume, and another film ticked off my Audrey Hepburn list. A University of Oxford dinner at Escot House, Devon. Oh Chanel, why are you so perfect? How much is that Louboutin bag in the window? I love Boden days. Are you ready for your close up?

Snapshots of May

The dreamy home of my dear friend Vicki. A beautiful blue sky over Totnes, Devon. Flying union jack bunting at the Boden press day. Nostalgic travel at Revival, Totnes. My mum’s fully functioning Frister and Rossmann sewing machine, a delight! Walking home from work. A pretty pastel home and hydrangeas. Dartington Gardens on a blissfully sunny Thursday afternoon.

Snapshots of May

My Tatty Devine collection is small, but perfectly formed. All houses should be painted with Candy Pop turquoise. Two fawns, for Friday. More hydrangeas, yep I can’t get enough. Kitsch plastic flowers at Bicester Village. A little bit of Paris in London. One of my favourites, isn’t he adorable? Bike spotting in Soho. Packing my Boden pretties for Devon.

I hope May was kind, and I wish you a very happy and sunny June. For more do pop over to Instagram. You can also view my ‘snapshots of 2014’ to date here.
