Snapshots of June

June sunshine and boats at Bognor. A pretty pink beach hut. Perfect for two, on the West Sussex coast. Seaside treats of the sugar variety. My dream vintage Vespa, one day. Afternoon tea and homemade cake at Modern Art Oxford with my friend Louise. More beach huts, after all one is never enough. Ten pink peonies from my kind man. The turquoise beach hut that dreams are made of.

Earl Grey and lemon drizzle with Briony of A Girl, A Style, I snapped her Pashley bike. Ice cream in Cambridge. Hanging on the telephone. A pretty Sunday at home. Me and my dad, for Father’s Day. Sugary sweet treats at Harrods. A fawn for Friday. Colourful Oxford window boxes. Fitzbillies, Cambridge, where I sampled the famous Chelsea bun.

As part of my midlife crisis I’m mostly buying Chanel. There is no such thing as too many peonies. Home sweet home. More peonies. This 60s Twiggy mannequin is as cute as a button. Stunning hydrangeas. Pink doors, I’d live in either. Pretty east end shop windows. Adorable Oxford window boxes.

Cambridge, it’s a bit like Oxford really. Shopping at the Kate Spade sale with my friend Olga. A racy red beetle. Are you looking? Hello your Majesty! The colourful east end of London. Trooping the colour at the Queen’s birthday celebrations. Some more vintage doors, I just can’t resist. The Barbara Kruger private view at Modern Art Oxford.

Lovely June. Sad to see it go. I can't wait to take the kids to the Modern Art Oxford to see that! I love watching their reactions and interpretations.
