BODEN ON THE ROAD

My life took a rural turn last week when I was whisked away to the Dorset countryside to celebrate ‘Christmas in July’ with Boden.

The three day adventure included making bread in Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s Cookery School at River Cottage, creating pretty arrangements from wild flowers at the British Flower School, attending a Boden Christmas collection preview, walking across the stunning Dorset countryside with Johnnie Boden, his daughter Stella and dog Sprout, exploring Mapperton House and Gardens, meeting the Earl and Countess of Sandwich, staying at the gorgeous Bull Hotel,ย Bridport, and indulging in an untold amount of food and drink.

The most memorable part was sharing the experience with a lovely group of people; editors and journalists from Vogue, Cosmopolitan, The Telegraph and Glamour. Not to mention the fabulous Boden team and some gorgeous bloggers (Cider with Rosie, Kat got the Cream, Park and Cube, Liberty London Girlย and Smudgetikka). Trust me when I say there was a lot of Tweeting and Instagramming taking place. In fact I’m pretty sure we broke the River Cottage wifi. Ooops!

The new Boden collection will arrive next week, and if you fancy a little spoiler do pop over to my Autumn / Winter ’14ย post. Thank you Johnnie and the Boden team for an amazing and inspirational trip.
