Great Boden in Bloom || Spring / Summer 2015

21st November 2014

Earlier this month I was invited to the Boden spring / summer 2015 Press Day which I was thrilled to attend.

As always the press day was nothing short of delicious. The clothes and accessories were displayed alongside flowers, vintage gardening books, packets of seeds, garden gnomes, watering cans and even a pink greenhouse complete with allotment produce. It was a magnificent sight to behold!

For spring / summer 2015 the designers took their inspiration from the flora and fauna of English country gardens, city parks and even the Boden House roof garden. The result was a feast of pretty floral prints, feminine cuts and happy inducing colours.

In addition I was delighted to see a 60s influence with a number of bold abstract prints and Pop Art style patterns, as you know I adore anything Twiggy-esque. And of course it was lovely to see the ever present, and very much loved, Boden Breton stripes.

Boden believe that beautiful clothes are like beautiful flowers, possessing the power to fill you with joy and happiness. And I must admit I left the press day feeling refreshed and ready for spring, despite being in central London on a grey day!

Following the press day – which I attended with fellow bloggers Kat and Rosie – we drifted to The Berkeley for a most fabulous fashion afternoon tea. To be continued…

To shop this season’s collection do pop over to Boden where there’s currently 30% off selected items.
