Ledbury is a small market town and one of my favourite places in Herefordshire. It’s the home of Richard Ashcroft and my uncle Nick, and it’s always on my to-do list when I visit my parents.

We are creatures of habit and so we usually start the day at the Scandinavian emporium Hus and Hem (one of the few places where this minimalist wants to buy everything!), followed by lunch at the Market House Cafe and a then wander along the cobbles of Church Lane.

If you’re looking for a pretty and historic place to spend a relaxing afternoon I can thoroughly recommend it. There are lots of interesting things to see and do, and Eastnor Castle and the Malvern Hills are on the doorstep.

What a pretty little town !
Did you also buy one of those cute wooden birds ? I surely couldn't have resisted them, if I were you…
You and your mom look great – both very stylish !!

What a lovely shop. It looks like the kind place I could spend a good hour rummaging around. I love those colourful trays in the 5th photo. You and your mum look like very stylish ladies 🙂

I must put Ledbury on my list, I think I have driven through here, possibly by mistake…as I haven't got a satnav! It's always the best way to find out places. What a lovely day for you both. Mums are great. Could new cushions be on order for your zen living space perhaps. I must tell you a gave my living room a huge declutter yesterday! I think the kitchen could be next. Enjoy the weekend. X
