I’m excited September is here because it marks the beginning of Autumn, and all the beauty that comes with it. It is also a time to learn, develop, grow and inspire, as schools, colleges and universities open their doors again. So this month we’ve chosen the theme ‘inspire’ to celebrate this very inspirational time of year.
My image incorporates a few things that inspire me: flowers, colour, pattern (albeit a little haphazard), and simplicity. Jeska’s image embraces the start Autumn with a collection of pretties that are dear to her. I especially love the dried rose buds and tiny piece of lace, so exquisite.
As always we would love you to take part. All you need to do is upload your photograph to Instagram including the hashtag: ayearofmoments_inspire, along with mine and Jeska’s user names. We will share a few favourites on our blogs and Instagram at the end of the month.
Here are a few favourites from August where we slowed things down with a little simplicity.
With only three months until the end of the year I thought I’d share my photographs to date. This set has become a visual log of 2015, and I vividly recall each photograph being taken and how I was feeling at the time. I guess that’s what photography is all about. If you’ve been joining in this year, I would love to see how your year of moments is looking. You can view the year in more detail here: January, February, March, April, May, June, July and August.
I hope you have an inspirational September and I look forward to seeing you over on Instagram.
