Happy November and welcome to the eleventh month of A Year of Moments, a monthly collaboration with the lovely Jeska of Lobster & Swan.
I can’t quite believe we’re nearing the end of the year, I’ll certainly enjoy looking back at 2015 and my year of moments. But for now I’m thrilled to share the theme for November which is magical. To join in, all you need to do is upload your photograph to Instagram including the hashtag: ayearofmoments_magical, along with mine and Jeska’s user names. We will share a few favourites on our blogs and Instagram feeds at the end of the month.
My photograph was taken a few weeks ago at Harcourt Arboretum. It was wonderful to photograph the patterns of the autumn leaves with my macro lens. The colour, light and movement really enchanted me and I was swept away taking photographs. I particularly liked this one because the leaves and flatness remind me of a Japanese print, and just like Van Gogh I love my complimentary colours!
Jeska’s delightful photograph includes a beautiful spoon she made with Forest and Found. It’s such a cheerful image and I love the stay cosy message combined with the ever present lace.
Here are a few of our favourites from October where the theme was gather. Clockwise from top left we have emilyquinton, circleofpines, nina_nixon, allison_sadler_, c_colli, lillalinaea, silverpebble2, lexymarkham and in the centre the_flower_mill.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a magical November!
